The Red Gator Challenge is the second event in the south division of the Backwater Redfish Series. Tournament fish will be 2 legal Red Fish & 2 legal Trout to be weighed in alive at Calusa Island Marina’s weigh station.

$50 Late Fee If Not Signed Up 10 Days Prior to the Event-Enforced
Captain’s Meeting will be hosted out of Hooters in Naples, FL. Registration will begin at 6:00pm; tournament rules and details will be discussed at 7:00pm. Each team must have at least one angler attend the captains Meeting.
Hooters will be providing complementary appetizers.
High quality raffle items and silent auction items will be available.
Each team will receive Backwater Series custom fishing gear and merchandise.

Payout Based On 30 Boats
- First Place: $4,000.00
- Second Place: $1,500.00
- Third Place: $800.00
- Fourth Place: $600.00
- Fifth Place: $350.00
2 Legal Red Fish
Bait of choice
Dead Trout will have a half pound penalty
Dead Red Fish will have ½ lb penalty (Only 1 dead fish may be weighed)
Weigh Master's ruling is final
Tournament checkout is from 6:30am-7:30am at Calusa Island Marina.
There will be a shotgun start in 10 boat intervals at 6:45am from the end of the idle zone.
The weigh station will be open from 2:00pm-4:00pm. All teams must be checked in at the weigh station by 4:00pm.
There will be a $50 Calcutta that will pay back 100% to the winning team
